Hi,

what do you know about Banksy?

Have you ever heard of him?

I think he is a very interesting subject for our flipped classroom.

He is Britain's most famous graffiti artist, we know very little about his life, but his works are really interesting...

Watch the following video and then we'll talk about him in class

ASSIGNMENT #1

Now,  after watching the video you can answer the following questions:

1. Who is Banksy's real name?

2. Where and when was he born?

3. Why does he use  stancils?

4. Why is graffiti so important for him?

ASSIGNMENT #2

In groups of 3, 4 students .... 

-surf the net and choose one picture by Banksy you really like

-create a ppt and put the photo in a slide 

- write the place and the date of the chosen picture

- write a brief comment on it

-send your work to our class page on EDMODO

.... and  we'll try to create a slideshow with your work
